Jessica is my amazing older sister—hardworking, protective, and an ice cream lover! Despite our age difference, we share a close bond, enjoying weekly Friday dinners and Sunday family gatherings. We've been through a lot together, and I can't imagine anyone else as my Matron of Honor. I can already picture her speech, filled with funny childhood stories!
Five years ago, I met Taylor in the Delta Zeta sorority at Barton College during a speed sister interview for being my big sister in the sorority. Since then, she has embraced my true, goofy self and become my soul sister, best friend, and greatest supporter. Having her as one of my bridesmaids and having her there when I get married means the world to me.
Carissa, one of my childhood best friends, has been a part of my life since I was 5 when I met her through Abigail. We've shared many experiences in elementary, middle, and high school, as well as club and school soccer. A passionate traveler, she has visited remarkable places like Belgium and Germany. Tough and fiercely loyal, Carissa is an ideal bridesmaid, as she is part of many cherished memories.
Abigail is another one of my childhood best friends. I met her at the age of 5 while playing youth soccer at FVAA. We stayed close throughout elementary, middle, and high school and shared countless memories on the soccer field. She's incredibly smart and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Biochemistry & Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee. It's only fitting that she be my bridesmaid for this amazing adventure.
In my senior year at Barton College, I met my little sister in the Delta Zeta sorority, Elyse. We instantly bonded over hours of conversations at El Tapatio, and I knew she was meant to be my little sister. Elyse played on the women's golf team all four years and is a fantastic golfer. Elyse’s favorite movie is a classic, The Goonies. She has always supported me, and just like the famous line, "Goonies never say die," our bond will never die. I can't wait to have her by my side as a bridesmaid on my wedding day.
My younger brother Matthew is easygoing and great at doing a Kermit the Frog impression. We’ve always been close, playing soccer together at XL Soccer World, West Lake Middle School, and Middle Creek High School, and now enjoying daily chats and late-night video games. He’s more than a brother; he’s my best friend and the perfect choice for my best man.
Bryan is my youngest brother and one of the most thrill-seeking people I know. My favorite memory is riding all the rides at Walt Disney World together on our family trips (even all in one day). Although we’ve grown up and don’t play with Legos or "horse" outside anymore, I talk to him daily while we play video games. I’m excited to have him as a groomsman at my wedding.
In 7th grade at West Lake Middle School, I met Henry on the track field, and we quickly became good friends through our shared interests in recreational shooting and history. Always up for a Sheetz run or Outback Steakhouse for a blooming onion, Henry is loyal to his friends, family, and country. He is an ideal groomsman and is part of many cherished memories.
During my freshman at Middle Creek High School, Chris kicked me in the shin while we played soccer. After that, we discovered our shared love for strategy-based video games and remained close throughout high school, often hanging out at Sheetz or bowling at Buffalo Lanes. Chris's honesty and trustworthiness set him apart. I’m grateful to have him by my side as a groomsman at my wedding.
I first met Austin during my junior year of high school while bowling with friends, and that night sparked a truly special friendship. Late-night Sheetz runs with the other groomsmen became our fun adventures filled with laughs. We bonded over video games, often laughing about how bad we were. What stood out most was Austin’s incredible heart and knack for making everyone smile. From that first night to all our shared adventures, I’m so grateful to have Austin by my side and can’t wait to see where our journey takes us next!
